Middle School check chart
Middle School students grow along two pillars: academics at grade level, and the MAX Journey. The MAX Journey is broken into four phases, each one capped by a gate. Every phase has a couple of required checks, done by everyone, plus a longer list of optional skills to choose from. Students pick any five of those to pursue, based on their own interests. Once the required checks and the five chosen skills are complete, the gate opens: a live showcase where the student presents what they've built or learned in front of a real audience at the Alpha Showcase.
